pre-teen best medical facilities in the country

Hi all - I am the friend of a family who has an 11 year old dauther that was diagnosed with Cron's when she was 3. She has been treated at a facility in the midwest until this point unfortunately prenedisone and diet are not controlling her flares. The dr.'s are considering surgery in the next 6 months however the family wants to get a second (and third??) opinion.

Any suggestions as to the best facility dealing with pre-teen crohn's that have excellent references and creative solutions.

If they are willing to travel, an IBD center with cutting edge technology that conducts much of the studies and has a whole gastro dept specializing in IBD. They are lucky to have a friend like you. Hope they get the much needed help.
