Have to agree with Lizzie's Mom, Camp Oasis is a great place.  I also have a worrier and Camp Oasis has probably been the most beneficial (at least according to him).  This summer will be his 3rd trip to camp and he comes home every time more confident and in control of his life and Crohns.

He may be having a bit of a set back and beginning to have a flare up.   I would put a call in to his pedi gi and see if they can call in a script for an anit-spasmatic or something to help his vomiting.  Have there been any changes w/his meds, diet, etc?

I usually try dealing with it w/o add'l meds., paying special attention to what is eaten, making sure plenty of water is being given, chamomile or ginger tea has been helpful here, but given he's 11 and a boy, he may not be receptive.

On a separate issue, have you looked into sending him to Camp Oasis?  Only mentioning because he's still young enough for you to insist that he attend.  It is a fabulous way for kids to meet others just like themselves.  You can find more info on this site under the Kids/teens tab.   Lizzie has gone for the last 3 yrs and is already signed up for this summer too!

Good luck to you........hope you're back on the road to recovery.
