Feeling alone

Wed, September 04, 2013 8:10 PM

I know that I am alone in this world living with this disease, as a matter of fact I know several people who are living like I am. I feel so alone though. I am very grateful to be alive and doing well, but at times I just get emotional. For instance, people take small things for granted, like my students. I so badly want to tell them my situation and how I cope each day, but I can't. Most are not at a mature level in which they can comprehend this. My situation sometimes causes me to shut down and block people who love me out for days at a time. I pray daily and constantly for God to work on me and through me. Please continue to pray for my mental and physical strength. I have found myself reading the book of Job and how he came through his ordeal. I find strength in knowing that God chose me and he has given me the tools to make it through.

I am so glad you believe in God.  He will see us through the not so good days.  You are not alone.  I too feel that way sometimes.
Hang in there.
