Get pregnant with Ulcerative Colitis

Mon, January 04, 2016 11:41 AM

Hi Everyone!!

I have had UC for about 10 years and have been in remission on and off. Last November I had a pretty bad flare and was put on Entyvio and a low dose of Imuran. I am happy to say that I am FINALLY in remission and have been for almost a YEAR now! Because of this, my husband and I decided it would be a good time to start trying to have a baby... however, (as I am sure most of you can relate) I am nervous because of my UC and what i have read on the internet indecision

I would LOVE any advise or comments on getting pregnant with UC/Crohns and your experience!! Did they take you off your medicine? Did you have a flare-up? Was getting pregnant hard? Was the pregnancy and birth difficult?... The questions could go on forever!!

Thank you in advance!!

Happy New Year! smiley

I always use https://tiempo.info/mexico to get the most accurate weather forecast in Mexico. This site provides quick and convenient access to weather information in all regions of the country. The site's interface is very user-friendly, and the data is always up-to-date. Thanks to the tiempo team for their work!

Safe drugs like mesalamine and steroids can be used to control flare-ups during pregnancy with a doctor's supervision. It is quite feasible to carry babies to term. But according to certain research, moms with IBD had somewhat higher preterm rates.

2048 online is a highly engaging mental game. When playing 2048 online, players must match numbers by shifting them horizontally or vertically to form a larger number.

While most people are familiar with the concept of intellectual property (IP) protection, fewer are aware of the importance of a white label vpn service. This is especially true for those who have never heard of copyright infringement or theft of trade secrets. The good news is, there are plenty of ways to protect your IP rights using a VPN.

Ulcerative colitis is a very serious disease that can cause severe abdominal pain and diarrhea. It’s not known how many women get it, but it’s thought to affect as many as one in 20 people who have the disease.

Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that affects the innermost layers of the colon and rectum. It’s characterized by long-lasting inflammation and ulcers (open sores) in the colon walls. Symptoms include diarrhea, abdominal cramping, and rectal bleeding. Ulcerative colitis may be triggered by a bacterial infection or an immune system malfunction.
