Symptoms change with cycle

I was diagnosed in the 90s. Was allergic to most medications so had to eventually revert to diet and herb/supplement treatment with acupuncture. This went well. Had a semi clean colonoscopy and had been doing ok on and off.

In in my mid 40s and appear to be going thru menopause. I've been having 3 weeks of menses at a time or having my mensus every other week. It's been draining and bad. But the worst part was when I started having major symptoms of colitis and upper GI again, including the incredible fatigue, bleeding , cramping, nausea and dizziness just to name a few. It is substantially worse during mensus.

Frustrated because I had my regimen and had it mostly under control so I could live life (you know how it goes) but now with this new influential factor, I feel like I'm starting the search all over to fine what helps.

Birth control? Made it worse, especially my emotions. Tried that for four months, gave me practically a constant period and I felt like i wanted to commit suicide...and trust me, I have no reason to feel that way. So stopped taking that.

Hysterectomy? Dunno if that will do any good as I have endo anyway.

Another new symptom (ever since I had two hip surgeries that I feel "woke everything up") is skin rashes so bad it feels like it gives those areas arthritis. Mostly on my hands and face and sometimes my legs.

These me additions may be moot for this particular forum as I am more interested in this obvious hormonal link but wanted to give you some background. anyone else have similar cycle patterns? And if so, what was your solution?
thank you
