Uncomfortable in clothes

Sun, August 29, 2010 3:45 PM

I have had UC for over 2 years.  For about the past year I have been unable to wear jeans because of the pain it causes in my stomach.  It isn't only jeans but any pants that don't have an elastic waistband.  I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and any brands they know of that make pants that are flattering but have elastic waistbands.  Any help or suggestions would be great!

Thanks

Many brands offer pants Strands NYT with elastic waistbands that are designed to be pulled on without the need for buttons or zippers. These styles are typically made with stretchy, comfortable fabrics that can accommodate fluctuations in your waist size.

Hey there! I understand the struggle. Comfort is key! For elastic waistband pants that are both comfy and stylish, check out brands like "ComfortStyles" or "FlexFit Fashions." They offer a range of flattering options that won't compromise on style. Pair them with a sleek black spider hoodie – the perfect combo of comfort and calm!

Feeling uncomfortable in clothes can be an unpleasant experience. It can be caused by a variety of factors, such as ill-fitting or tight clothing, scratchy fabrics, or uncomfortable styles. This discomfort can lead to physical discomfort, such as itching or chafing, as well as emotional discomfort, such as feeling self-conscious or insecure. It can also affect one's confidence and ability to fully enjoy their day. It is important to find Y2k Jeans clothing that fits well and feels comfortable, as it can greatly impact one's overall well-being.

If you are in need of comfortable clothing this winter then I suggest you this Yellowstone season 4 Beth Dutton Leather Jacket because it is quite comfortable for this season.

I recently bought a mens gothic pants from a store. The pant is very comfortable in wear and in good quality. If you want to buy just click here and buy this stylish coat at a very reasonable price.

When I was first diagnosed (25 years ago) I was 13 and how you dressed was everything!  I would buy leggins and have my mom "modify" the waist so they were really loose which is basically maternity pants I guess! They had just started coming out with jeans with "stretch" in them but they still really bothered my stomache. Now they have the super low rise jeans with stretch and even "jeggins" (denim leggins). I find the low waist jeans so much more comfortable for me because they are away from my stomache. Im grateful for stretchy denim and the popularity of low rise jeans!

It is good to know that this is "normal".  I really start to feel like I'm the only one with some of the problems I have.

I have found Lee brand jeans - mid rise, comfort waist band - are very comfortable.  They come in all sizes too.

I know how that feels! You have days where you are bloated and the spasms and cramps are so bad. This sounds silly but at the age I am at I switched to a lower rise jean not to low but a lower rise just below the belly button and that helped a lot. And I also was able to find jeans that came in waist sizes not 5 or 7's which seemed to make a difference. I wear western jeans sometimes too. You could try Cruel girl slim fit (they have stretch in them) jeans, wrangler aurora,  or Guess, sometimes mens jeans work. I have a bunch of friends that are not by any means cowboy boot wearing people that tried those jeans and found them comfortable. Just a thought. And they sit higher in the back which is nice. Dress pants are a pain but I find Ann Taylor loft isn't too bad. It can be is so uncomfortable. I wish you the best. Check it out and see what you think. Feel better.

I am so glad to know that there are people out there who understand what I Feel. Initially, I thought I was being silly and over-reacting when I felt too tight in my regular clothing. I work in an office and have to dress accordingly. I usually wear formal pants and skirts and feel highly uncomfortable and tight around the waist through the course of the day.

As soon as I get home, I jump right into my tracks. But just to make life easier, I now look around for dresses that are not tight around the waist and can still be worn at work or outside.

Pregnancy pants sound great..I wish I could wear them, the problem is I'm so small even when I was pregnant I couldn't fit into them. They do sell belly bands though which you put around the zipper and button so you can wear your old jeans just unzipped and unbuttoned and the band is supposed to hold them up(??) I got one while I was pregnant but it slipped around my belly so much I gave up. I should look into maternity clothes again though maybe I'll get lucky and find some that fit smaller. Otherwise I stick to my sweats, I don't really go anywhere besides work...

Wow, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has difficulty with waistbands. I'm another one who likes the soft, elastic waist pants. On some days I can't wear any of my slacks, even the really stretchy ones, and I have some loose, long dresses that are real life-savers. They're long enough for me to wear knee-high hose if I need to.  I've considered maternity pants, but wasn't sure. I may have to try some on.

I also don't like pants with zippers, because frankly, it makes it rough when you're in a hurry to go to the bathroom. Elastic waisted pants are much easier!

Hello, it might sound silly, but I wear a lot of preg pants and shorts. The kind with the low-rise waist or roll over top (Old Navy sells a lot like this and they go on sale a lot). I cannot stand regular jeans and pants anymore since my tummy is so sensitive to having anything touch it, or so it seems. I started wearing my old preg jeans one day and they worked great so I just buy extra preg clothes now or wears pants with an elastic waist if I am just around the house or going to a friend's house now. Good luck!
