Missed Periods :(

Thu, December 06, 2012 8:14 AM

Hello All!!  I have had Chrons for almost 3 years and had to have surgery as well and finally in remission after these 3 long years (probbaly almost 7 years now since I was misdiagnosed).  Either way, back in May I was told that I had to get off of my birth control because a tumor was found on my liver that was creating more hormones and getting larger because of the pill.  So, as of June I was birth control free, my body was getting regular and getting my period every month until now.

I am almost 5 days late and there is very well a possibility I could be pregnant but I already took 2 tests and both appeared negative (instantaneously).  I don't have symptoms of being pregnant accept for my bloating but that to me is normal because of my chrons.

To top it all off, I have been on 6MP for 3 years and Humira injections once a week and wondering if my body is changing and that is why I feel this way. . just not sure.

Has anyone had this occur to them out of nowhere?

Please let me know so I don't feel like I am going crazy.

Thanks and stay healthy to all!!!

Stacy

In response to pregnancy, is it safe to take Remicade on 1st trimester period?? Did
anyone receive Remicade infusion treatment while pregnant on their 1st trimester??
please, I need an answer since I'm in the situation where I have to decide whether
or not to receive treatment while pregnant. Thanks!

Hi Stacy.

Irregularity is a very common occurrence with IBD. This is a reply coming very long after your posting of this question, so I guess you probably either have gotten your period by now or are pregnant?? Congratulations either way :P
