Diet for Crohn's and Kidney Stones

Tue, October 29, 2013 2:03 AM

Does anybody with Crohn's and frequent kidney stones. I have been diagnosed with chronic kidney stones (calcium oxalate) and have been given a diet by urologist. But it seems most foods good for kidney stones are not recommended for crohn's.

Any suggestions about how to balance the 2 as painlessly as possible?

I have been diagnosed with chronic kidney stones also and i was advice to replace unhealthy fats such as shortening, animal fats and hydrogenated margarine with healthy fats such as olive oil and trans-fat free margarine. They also advice me to stay away from enhanced and pre cook products like broth, nuggets and strip.
