Maintaining Remission of IBD without Pharmaceuticals

At present I am in clinical remission of IBD and get a scope once a year, as well as monthly blood work to ensure there is no prescence of inflammation. When I was first diagnosed I had very little support from my doctors/specialists, but as I did more research, read up on evidence based studies and joined IBD communities- I found out about many alternative ways to combat this disorder. So this is just my way of giving back and at least sharing detailed info about my process. Once I was able to reach long term remission, it also turns out that I am the healthiest I've ever been in my adulthood. Good luck to all who are fighting!
