Having children

We will see I guess. My sister (born 7 years after me) has the exact same symptoms which is why I was suspecting it could be passed on genetically. We were both born very late in our parents lives so maybe it was just a defect.

As for the risks you should speak to your doctor, and it may come down to you making a risky decision. I personally would rather adopt, but my family has it bad. It will be completely up to you, but forums like this can be dangerous.. People obviously spread misinformation

My mom has symptomless crohn's, her mom has UC and her dad had IBS and colon cancer. My dad just has IBS, his sister has Crohn's and his brother's son has IBS.
