Severe Rectal Pain Symptoms from Ulcerative Colitis

Sat, November 01, 2014 5:19 AM

Hi there I'm from Philippines, My First symptoms was 1 week diarrhea no blood in stool before that and a severe anal pain I dont experience going to bathroom 15 to 20x daily. later that I had to go with my mother to appoint some Gastro in Manila Doctors Hospital and  was suggested to take Colonoscopy then after that my doctor told me that i got acute ulcerative colitis in different parts of my colon as i see my video sample of my colonoscopy i think i saw some inflamation in my colon. Then my doctor prescribed me Pentasa for 3mos and Pentasa Suppository  for two weeks and Prednisone taking for 3 weeks with different mg but I refuse these meds cause of the drastic effect from the body. During taking the meds i experience a pure blood stool and that was freak me out. My father told me that it was only from the sample as a biopsy taken in different parts of my colon during colonoscopy and luckily it never happens again. After taking the suppository for 2 weeks  the severe pain in my anus was not clearly gone and still feeling a slight pain after withdrawing in C.R (pooping). The Medicine like Pentasa Supp here in the philippines is very hard to find and I'm lucky enough to got the last 1 box.. after a week taking oral meds i feel comfortable again, I poop 1x day and its a bulk one and experiencing some un noticeable pain in my anus.

I only eat  fried fish and porridge since i am a filipino it was not a problem to eat this kind and foods and we were born to eat rice i think. hahaha but still found out that filipino dishes is not suitable for me anymore cause its very filled up with spices which is not good for a uc patient so right now  its very hard to find what food is good for me and whats not. I found some several books with recipe online but cannot have one because its not accessible and lack of budget since i'm only 23 y.o i quit my job cause of this ill. And one day i made a great mistake i ate some Tasty Bread Gardenia and now i'm saying hello to my anal pain again
