IS THERE SOMETHING LIKE MILD COLITIS???

Sat, November 10, 2018 4:22 AM

Hello Newbie Here,

My quick history is am suffering for an abdominal pain for 8 years before finally undergoing colonoscopy.

Loose stool everyday, boating and a lot of gas. I have my first colonoscopy on January 8 2018 and my colon is normal as per my GI. Giving me only Cypro and Fragyl for a week. Although my diarhea was gone, but the pain is still there, feeling it everday until now. I decided to took another colonoscopy with diffrent GI on August 10 2018 and this time he managed to have a biopsy. The result is exactly as these.

Diganosis: Terminal Ileum - Mild Ileitis
Colon - Mild non specific colitis.

Again, no other medicines prescribed but antibiotics (Cypro) for a week also. I observed that antibiotics has no effects this time unlike the first time i took it.

Now, i am experiencing again diarhea (often), but a lot of gas and farting then the tummy pain everyday.

Can someone englighten me of the results, please. What should i do? check another GI or be wary of my diet? This making me depressed by over thinking.

By the way i am asian.

Yes, see another G.I doctor until you find the right one. Try to lessen stress. Drink a lot of green tea, eat pineapples and other natural anti inflammatories. Get some probiotics.
