I was diagnosed with Crohns.  Got a perianal abcess years ago.  They had to drain it, and clean it and they placed a silk seton.  It healed up after months and during that I did a lot of sith bathes.  Then one day the seton fell out, and it just left me with a piercing.  I guess you call it a fistula.  I hate it, but it's there.  I sure hope they can fix your rectovaginal fistula.  I can't have mine fixed due to the crohn symptoms in the rectum.

I’m a guy, so,ive not had your issues, but I have multiple fistulas and they are pretty nasty .i’ve had multiple surgeries to deal with them. No fun at all. Good luck.
