Microscopic Colitus

Sat, February 22, 2020 7:08 AM

Hi has anyone out there got collagenous microscopic colitis? After 3 months of chronic diorhea I was diagnosed with this condition. Took Asacoll for 6 weeks with no improvement, was then given a month of Beclometasone. This worked  within a couple of days but two weeks after the course finished the diorhea is back. I have also been following a strict non gluten, non dairy, low GI fruit and veg, whole grains only and raw honey instead of sugar. This is on the advice of a friend who is a GP ( not mine) and a functional medicine practitioner.

I would appreciate any advice. Am in the Uk, so far treated by GP, am on a waiting list to see a specialist. No one ( including my GP) seems to have heard of this type of colitis.

While considering academic essay writing services, it's crucial to prioritize safety and reliability. Is nerdify safe? Nerdify's reputation for safety is commendable, with numerous users reporting positive experiences. However, it's prudent to conduct thorough research before engaging any service. Look into customer reviews, verify the platform's security measures, and ensure they prioritize confidentiality and plagiarism-free work. Additionally, check if they offer transparent communication channels and guarantee timely delivery. Ultimately, while Nerdify appears to be a safe option based on available information, exercising due diligence is paramount to ensure a satisfactory and secure academic writing experience.

So sorry to hear about your condition hope you recover it. I think researchers should write a detailed series of precaution in ebook format with the help of british cheap ebook ghostwriters. So that people should be aware of these things.

I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling with collagenous microscopic colitis. It can be a challenging condition to manage, especially when treatments don't seem to squidward be providing relief.

Collagenous microscopic colitis is a type of inflammatory bowel disease that affects the colon and causes chronic diarrhea. It is characterized by inflammation and thickening of the colon lining, which can lead to diarrhea, abdominal pain, and other symptoms. While the exact cause of the condition is unknown, it is believed to be related to an autoimmune response.

The treatments for collagenous microscopic colitis can vary, but they often include medications to reduce inflammation in the colon. As you have experienced, the effectiveness of these medications can vary from person to person. It is also important to make dietary changes to help manage the condition. Following a low-fiber, low-fat, and low-acid diet may help to reduce inflammation and improve symptoms.

While waiting to see a specialist, it may be helpful to keep a diary of your symptoms and the foods you eat to see if there are any triggers that exacerbate your symptoms. You may also want to consider consulting with a registered dietitian who specializes in inflammatory bowel diseases to help you develop a personalized diet plan.

It is also important to continue working with your GP to manage your symptoms and to stay on top of any changes in your condition. If your symptoms persist or worsen, don't hesitate to seek medical attention.
