Do I have the right diagnosis?

Wed, August 27, 2025 7:39 AM

Recently diagnosed with Crohns Disease.
I have history of diverticulosis/diverticulitis, and I have no gallbladder.
For the last few years I have had symptoms, worsening in the last few months.
I moved, stopped working, and started to get to the bottom of everything.
My colonoscopy showed lymphocyte aggregates, scarring, diverticulosis. My ASCA IGG came back positive, my calprotectin borderline. I have been on budesonide for months now.
My latest calprotectin is normal, still symptomatic. MRI showed no strictures, didn't even mention anything regarding Crohns.
GI wants me to start Tremfya, says it would probably be my best bet right now. Mesalamine didnt work for me, and I cant stay on the steroids forever.

I just want to be sure before I start something like Tremfya. Or maybe I just caught Crohns in the really early stages.

I was also denied for disability, even though there is no way I would be able to work now between appointments, new medications, and my pain and symptoms.
