vsl#3

Wed, January 06, 2010 1:00 AM

i talke vsl#3 and i NEED it on a daily basis.  If i skip a day, i definitly see a huge difference in my symptoms and the way i feel.  I want to be able to leave and go on trips and have a normal life.  This has to be refrigerated at a certain temperature and if it is not, the medication becomes inactive.

is it possible for me to travel, or not?

VSL#3 is stable at room temp for a week.

You can always get a fridge in your room or keep in a cooler-

You are lucky that this is all you need!

Enjoy

Of course it is possible to travel, it just takes a little planning on your part.  We run into the same problem with my daughter's meds, just bring a cooler and cooler packs, book a room with a fridge/freezer and be prepared to be stopped and meds tested at the airport.   You'll be fine, don't let this keep you home!

Have fun!
