Health insurance question

Wed, January 17, 2018 5:33 PM

After yesterday’s scope my doctor wants be to start Entyvia infusions. I am fatally allergic to Remicade. I have no prescription insurance. I’m on Medicare disability but I’m willing to buy additional health insurance. How do I find out if the infusions are covered?  Is it a medical coverage or a prescription coverage I should be concerned about?

Entyvio offers a copay assistance program, however you MUST have commercial insurance in order to qualify. Medicare/Medicade does not count. Every insurance plan I have looked at or had does not cover Entyvio explicitly, I've had to appeal so it's difficult to know which coverage information to look at. Sorry this isn't extremely helpful, but good luck!

I implore you to try CBD + THC 20:1 ratio Suppositories first.   My daughter is symptom free. It was or last ditch effort before remmicade.   I feel like I have to scream to the world that this works.  Make sure your doctor is involved though.
