Fistulas.. Anyone?

Tue, August 25, 2020 11:39 PM

Has anyone had to deal and manage with any type of fistulas? I am so tired of being in pain. I am just tired of being tired. Any suggestions, I need a surgeon but my mediciaid is giving me the run around, gives me one provider and that provider doesn't even accept the medicaid. I am trying to keep my head up and my emotions down. This these fistulas are brining my down slowly. Just want to know if anyone else has gone or is going through with dealing with them.

Yup, been there and thought I was going to pass out from the pain.

you're going to think this is crazy but there is an easy, cheap and pain free solution.  Orajel maximum strength instant relief jell.  The stuff used for toothache pain that you put on your gums.

smear it liberally on your rectum and try to get it up inside the rectum as well as soon as you get the urge to go, it stops the pain instantly.  It's safe to use and there are no side effects.

Hope you feel better soon.

I have several fistulas.  My colorectal surgeon installed statins or what I refer to as drains. They work pretty well.. The last one was installed on Halloween, it's still draining, but not near as much.

I have a fistula and it is very hard day to day. With the pain. I had first Entyvio infusion yesterday.  Humira. Cimzia. Stelara did not work. I had a severe delayed reaction to Remicade.  I have high hopes for Entyvio.  Prednisone always works to help the inflammation. I have severe Crohns in lower colon, rectum, anus.  Rectovaginal fistula. It's not easy to talk about. But it can be debilitating.  I still work as much as possible and try to just keep going. Take a day at a time.  Wish you well. I don't mind discussion about it.
